Kimzey is a third generation Funeral Director, and graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, OH, in 1995. She has a license to practice in both Ohio and Arizona and is active in the community. She has worked with the family business for the past 16 years, and is currently the General Manager of Heritage Funeral Chapel Peoria. She also enjoys golfing in her spare time.

The staff is composed of four licensed funeral directors. Two of them are doctors. The fourth one is a licensed nurse. Dr. Mercer is a registered dietitian, and he has more than 15 years of experience. He graduated from the Florence High School. The three employees work in the mortuary together.
